Comprehensive Sexuality Education Staff provides multi-session programs in schools and other community settings to address reality-based sexuality and family life education and stresses responsible decision-making. The program may involve a single meeting, multiple sessions or ongoing support groups designed to foster youth development. MIP groups are presentated in school and community settings, as well as juvenile detention facilites.

Teen Success This weekly support group offers pregnant and parenting teen mothers strategies for success. The program emphasizes maintaining current family size, setting short and long-term goals, increasing self-esteem and the importance for completing high school.

Due to the generosity of a donor, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte has the ability to replicate Teen Success at other Planned Parenthood affiliates. Contact AVP of Teen Programs, (916) 446-5037, Ext.116 for details.

Teen Talk This support group targets 11-14 year olds at very high risk of unintended pregnancy. It is designed to build self-esteem and provides information and experiences to encourage young girls to be responsible and delay pregnancy at least until they finish high school.
