From popular culture to the Presidential election, issues involving sexual health are front and center. The Obama Administration has been a breath of fresh air for the political landscape of women’s health. What better time for PPLM to showcase our public awareness initiative about why sexual health matters? PPLM is continuing to improve sexual health in Massachusetts. We are reaching out to parents through our parent education programs and middle school curriculum to encourage parents to talk to their children about sexual health.

We are building a new "green" health center in Worcester, allowing us to expand access to our services within the community. Our new center will give our patients more privacy in a convenient location, close to public transportation, college campuses and community resources.

PPLM is collaborating with Latino-serving organizations and participating in community events across the state.  We’ve begun working with the Puerto Rican Cultural Center in Springfield, one of the state’s leading Latino organizations to bring comprehensive sex education into schools and communities most in need of our resources.

This is just the start of many new and rich conversations about how we can collectively make sexual health matter. We are excited to begin work on new initiatives that will expand access to sexual health and well-being.
