The Planned Parenthood Los Angeles Resource Library provides a wide range of educational tools and information on sexuality education to individuals, parents, nurses, students, schools and community groups in Los Angeles County.
Information available at the Library includes brochures, books, and films and video tapes on topics ranging from abstinence, birth control methods, sexually transmitted infections, teen pregnancy and abortion. While some materials at the Resource Library are available free of charge, videos are available for $10 for a seven-day rental. Informational interviews for school projects on Planned Parenthood or family planning issues can be obtained through the Library. The Library responded to more than 600 requests for resource materials last year.
