Many Kentuckians forego preventative health care such as breast and cervical cancer screening. This number grows exponentially as the number of underinsured and uninsured continues to increase across the Commonwealth. Planned Parenthood of Kentucky has a rich history of promotion and provision of these vital life saving services, but our current resources limit our capacity to meet these mounting needs.
Today, more than ever before, the support of our community members is critical to ensure that these services and educational programs reach all of the individuals who need them most. Planned Parenthood of Kentucky needs your support so that we may reach out and serve more and more Kentuckians.
Even the smallest of contributions will make an impact today, and can also have lasting effects on the lives of so many:
$50 provides one woman, man or teen with STI screening and testing.
$100 provides 20 teens with comprehensive and medically accurate sexuality
education.
$200 provides a year of oral contraceptive supplies for one woman or teen.
$250 provides two women with their annual gynecological exam, including breast
and cervical cancer screening.
$500 provides two women with a recommend procedure (colposcopy) after an
abnormal pap test.
$1000 provides 500 women, men or teens with copies of medically accurate
reproductive health information.
