PPINW educators are available to offer age and developmentally appropriate programs on reproductive anatomy, puberty, communication skills, healthy relationships, abstinence, contraception, sexually transmitted infection prevention, responsible sexual decision making, sexual orientation and many other sexuality related topics. One session and multi-session presentations by our community health educators and trained Teen Advisory Board members are available upon request in a variety of venues including schools, colleges, youth groups, faith-based and community groups.
Our multi-session programming includes:
- Teen Action Board (TAB)
The Teen Action Board (TAB) is a group of local high school students who not only strive to make their own healthy and responsible decisions, but who also want to help their peers make healthy decisions as well. As educators, TAB members provide sexuality information to teens and adults. As advocates, TAB members learn skills to be advocates and agents of social change. - 8 to 10 session programming
These sessions, designed for youth between the ages of 13-18, can be tailored for a weeklong or for an eight to ten-week format and for the audience. This curriculum is an adaptation of core lessons from Family Life and Sexual Health (F.L.A.S.H.) developed by Public Health-Seattle & King County.
