As experts in the field of sexuality education, our educators serve as a resource and offer training opportunities and technical assistance to teachers, childcare providers, social workers, counselors, clergy, health care workers and other professionals on a variety of topics including:
- Birth control methods
- Sexually transmitted infections and HIV
- Values around sexuality
- The stages of sexual development
- Addressing sexuality with youth and adults with disabilities
- Science and evidence-based approaches to sexuality education
- Innovative ways to teach sexual health
- Implementing the Healthy Youth Act
Trainings can be offered during regularly scheduled staff meetings or specially arranged seminars and workshops.
