PPIL Internship Program

Thank you for your interest in interning with us!

Our internship program allows college students and recent graduates to learn about PPIL’s mission and services while gaining valuable work experience in their area of interest. PPIL interns spend their time working on engaging, substantive projects and often make long-lasting professional contacts in non-profit communities.

Please view our current internship opportunities.

Requirements/Benefits:

PPIL interns are asked to commit a minimum of 10-15 hours per week for the duration of one semester or summer. Our internship hours are flexible to allow interns to balance their internship with other activities.

Planned Parenthood of Illinois internships are unpaid, however, college credit may be arranged.

To Apply:

Check out our open internship positions and apply online. You’ll be asked to upload a resume and submit an application.

If you would like to apply for a volunteer position, fill out an application online. We also encourage you to register with our website so we can tell you anytime we add a new opportunity that might be of interest to you.

If you have any questions or have problems using our online application system, please email our Intern Program staff at volunteer@ppil.org or call our administrative offices at 312-592-6800 and we will be happy to direct you to a staff person in your area.
