Breast Cancer Screening

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure has partnered with Planned Parenthood of Idaho since 2003 to provide breast cancer screening and education information to women in the Treasure Valley.

In 2008, PPI expanded the Komen project to serve Ada, Blaine, Boise, Canyon, and Twin Falls counties through a “One-Stop” traveling medical professional team who provided a free one-stop education and cancer screening opportunity for women ages 18 and older.

The “One-Stop-Shop” program served:
• Boise -  24 women received free cancer screenings at our Boise clinics!!!

• Nampa -  13 women received free cancer screenings at our Nampa clinics!!!

• Horseshoe Bend -  8 women received free cancer screenings during our Boise County initiative!!!

• Twin Falls - 22 women received free cancer screenings at our Twin Falls clinics!!!

• Ketchum/Hailey - 27 women received free cancer screenings at our Ketchum clinics!!!

Susan G. Komen for the Cure has awarded us another grant to repeat our outstanding "One-Stop" program in 2009. Check this site regularly for updates, or email us!
