
PP Heartland's Education Department offers professionally developed and delivered age-appropriate educational programs which are available at minimal cost. Programs are individually designed for specific groups and populations and can be presented at community locations or at any of our three Education & Resource Centers.
PP Heartland education staff also provide professional training and consultation to professionals in human services, health care and education. Programs are developed in consultation with sponsoring agencies and are designed for each specific audience.

Teacher’s Toolbox: Best Strategies for Teaching Sex Ed
Participants will examine new as well as tried and true strategies for educating about a variety of sexuality topics. Featuring lessons from popular manuals by The Center for Family Life Education, this workshop will enable participants to learn basic formulas for creating effective, interactive, student-centered educational strategies. Educators will walk away from this workshop feeling empowered with new ideas and strategies to implement directly in the classroom.
