Appointments

You can privately and easily book your appointment online for select services 24/7. For the full set of services, you can call 919-942-7762 to book your appointment. Health center staff can also answer any questions you may have.

We are located at 1765 Dobbins Drive in Chapel Hill, NC 27514.

When traveling 15-501 South from I40 turn right onto Erwin Road, take an immediate right onto Dobbins Drive. Our office is on the left about .25 mile ahead. We are located next to the SunTrust bank. The patient entrance is on the back right side of the building and is framed by blue columns.

Services Coverage

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and STI/HIV screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to make sure that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you might have.

Additional Payment Information

Payment is expected at time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept:

  • Cash
  • Major Credit/Debit Cards
  • Money Orders
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Coventry Plans (including First Health Network and Wellpath), MedCost, Medicaid(excluding Medicaid for Pregnant Women or Medicaid with Medicare as primary), Tricare, and United Healthcare.

If you plan to pay for your visit with a credit card that’s not your own, you must bring a letter from the cardholder with you.

Walk-in Information

If you need emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill), you can walk in anytime we’re open.

You are welcome to walk in any time the Health Center is open to make an appointment or see if there is a same day appointment available. If you have the time to wait, we will make every effort to fit you in the same day. If we can’t see you, we will give you the first priority appointment available.

Birth control refill pick-ups are available on Monday 11-7 / Tuesday 9-5 / Wednesday 11-7 / Thursday 9-3 / Friday 8-4 / Sat 8-1.
