This new location combines our former Rosenberg Health Center and the Stafford Health Center. The new facility is called the STAFFORD HEALTH CENTER. It is easy to find and we hope to see you there soon.

If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.
New clients, please bring a drivers license or other photo ID.
If you are under 18, please read about parental consent for medical sevices.

Appointment Information
Birth control refill pick ups are available during all business hours.
At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing; testing and treatment for urinary tract infections
We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.
Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.

STD Testing, Treatment & Vaccines in Stafford, TX
Stafford Health Center - Family Planning offers the following services related to the testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs):
- STD testing, diagnosis and treatment, including:
- bacterial vaginosis (BV)
- chlamydia
- genital warts
- gonorrhea
- herpes
- HIV (testing and diagnosis only)
- syphilis
- trichomoniasis (trich)
- Other STD testing, diagnosis and treatment services are also available. Please ask our staff for more information.
- STD/safer sex education

Here’s what you need to know about STD testing and treatment at this health center:
For testing involving urine samples, including chlamydia and gonorrhea, do not urinate or engage in sexual intercourse for one hour before testing.
Many STD tests require a genital exam.
Rapid HIV testing can be done by swabbing the inside of your mouth or with a blood sample taken from a finger stick. The results are available in 10-40 minutes.
Counseling and anonymous (without your name) or confidential (private) testing for HIV are provided by trained staff who are sensitive to your needs and concerns.

Individuals ages 19 - 26 who have no health insurance and meet financial criteria may qualify for the Merck Vaccine Patient Assistance Program to receive the HPV vaccine (Gardasil) at no charge. Other fees may apply.
Some vaccines are given in a series over the course of several months, which would require you to return to the health center to get the full benefit.
