Walk-in Services
HOPE services; birth control refills, STD testing and treatment
All other services require an appointment.
If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

Appointment Information
Teen clinic is available: during all business hours
Birth control refill pick ups are available during all business hours
At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing; testing and treatment for urinary tract infections
We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.
Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.
Payment Information
If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. Please bring the following documents:
- birth certificate
- photo ID
- must know SSN - no document required
We accept the following forms of payment:
- cash
- checks
- major credit/debit cards
- money orders
Payment is expected at time of service.
Insurance Information
Some charges associated with your services may be covered by your insurance or a state- funded program. If you want to use your insurance, please be sure to bring in your insurance information at the time of your visit.

Abortion Services in Eugene, OR
Eugene-Springfield Health Center offers the following services:
- abortion pill (medication abortion)
- in-clinic abortion
- sedation options (medication to make the abortion more comfortable)
- pre- and post-abortion patient education
- post-abortion follow-up exams
- referrals for other abortion services, as needed
Here’s what you need to know about abortion services at this health center:
Abortion Pill (Medication Abortion)
Abortion pill (medication abortion) is offered up to 8 weeks and 6 days after the start of your last menstrual period. If your last period was more than 9 weeks ago, read about our in-clinic abortion services below.
Abortion pill (medication abortion) services are available by appointment only.
During the abortion pill (medication abortion) visit, you must agree — before you start — that you will have an in-clinic abortion if the abortion pill does not work.
After your abortion pill visit, you will need access to a telephone, transportation, and backup medical care available to you once you are home.
In-Clinic Abortion
In-clinic abortion is offered up to 12 weeks and 6 days after the start of your last menstrual period. If your last period was after 12 weeks and 6 days, we can still help. Call us for a referral list of health care providers in your area that offer other abortion services.
In-clinic abortions are available by appointment only.
Other Abortion Services Information
If you take any medications, please continue to take these medications normally before your appointment.
During your visit, you may be given the following:
- a pregnancy test
- a chance to speak with a trained staff person about all of your choices: abortion, adoption, and parenting
- a conversation with the health care provider about your health history
- lab tests/blood work
- a pelvic exam
- an ultrasound
- medications to make the abortion more comfortable
- medication if you are Rh negative
- antibiotics or other medications
- birth control information
- a birth control method
For Patients Under 18
If you are a minor considering an abortion, please read about parental consent and notification laws that might apply in your state.
If you are uninsured, you may be eligible to receive financial assistance for your procedure. You can confidentially find out if you qualify by calling us at 541.344.9411. If you are eligible for financial assistance, you may be asked to bring documentation with you to the health center.
