Walk-in Services
Walk-in appointments are available for emergency contraception and pregnancy tests. All other services as this health center may be available on a walk-in basis based on appointment availability.
If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

Appointment Information
Birth control refill pick ups are available any time we are open.
Planned Parenthood is proud to offer same day prescription refills. If you have an existing prescription with us, you can request to refill your birth control online before noon, and your prescription will be available for pick up after 2pm on the SAME DAY. Please call ahead to verify pick-up hours.
Please note that if you are using health insurance to cover the cost of your prescription, you can only receive one refill at a time.
At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control consultation and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing; HIV testing.
We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.
Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to wait unsupervised in the waiting area.
Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.

If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. Please bring the following documents:
- photo ID
- proof of residence
Fees for services are based on your household income.
Please bring proof of income when you arrive for your visit.
You will not be turned away because of your inability to pay.

- major credit/debit cards
- money orders
- Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, BMC HealthNet, Commonwealth Care plans, Cigna, Fallon, Harvard Pilgrim, Health New England, Massachusetts Medicaid/MassHealth, Neighborhood Health Plan, Network Health, Tufts, United Healthcare. Please call us if your insurance provider is not listed. Coverage for services may vary by plan, so please contact your insurance provider for specific coverage information.

Morning-After Pill (Emergency Contraception) in Fitchburg, MA

Emergency contraception (morning after pill) is available at this location:
- on a walk-in basis: We will accommodate walk-in patients as our schedule allows.
- during all business hours by appointment
Emergency contraception is available any time that we are open. Anyone age 17 and older can pick up Emergency Contraception without a prescription from the supply window for just $37. If you are under age 17, you need a quick visit to get a prescription - you can do a walk-in appointment, get a prescription, and leave with Emergency Contraception.

Here’s what you need to know about getting emergency contraception (morning after pill) at this health center:
Emergency contraception is available over the counter for women and men 17 and older. If you can’t make it in to a Planned Parenthood health center, you may be able to get emergency contraception at a nearby pharmacy.
Women under age 17 can get prescription emergency contraception following a visit with a Planned Parenthood health care provider.
The copper IUD may also be used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse. Ask your health care provider for more information.
