Health Center Services and Information

Walk-in Services

All services at this health center are available on a walk-in basis. Scheduled appointments are also available.

If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Eve

Payment Information

Medicaid accepted.

Denali Kid Care accepted.

If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale.

Fees for services are based on your household income.

You will not be turned away because of your inability to pay.

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • cash
  • checks
  • major credit/debit cards
  • We can bill most insurance providers for your medical services and many prescription plans for your birth control, medication, and refills.

Payment is expected at time of service.

Payment plans are available for many services.

The Juneau health center receives funding to serve low income patients through the Federal Title X program. The cost of your visit depends on your income, family size and insurance coverage.



We bill all insurances, knowing your deductible and co-pays will help us determine your cost. Please be sure to bring a current card with you.



We also bill Medicaid please bring current coverage verification.

Men's Health Care in Juneau, AK

Juneau Health Center offers the following men's health services:

  • checkups when you have a reproductive/sexual health problem
  • erectile dysfunction education
  • jock itch — exam and treatment
  • premature ejaculation education
  • urinary tract infections — testing and treatment

Men's health services are available:

  • during all business hours by appointment
