The Pennsylvania Abortion Control Act requires two visits in order to receive an abortion. Your first visit, known as the Informed Consent Visit, must occur at least 24 hours before you can return for your abortion during your second visit. You will receive an ultrasound to determine weeks of gestation (how 'far along' you are), blood work and receive information about all of your options and the risks involved in pregnancy, delivery and abortion and the two types of abortion: In-Clinic and Medication. The cost for your Informed Consent Visit is $60 and is non-refundable. If you return for an abortion, the $60 is deducted from your final cost.
Medication Abortions are offered to 63 days (9 weeks). In-Clinic Abortions are offered to 13 weeks and 6 days.
You will never be pressured into choosing abortion, parenting or adoption. Only you can decide what is best for you. Everything you share with us is strictly confidential.
