Note:
Effective September 1st, 2013 the Far Northeast Health Center will suspend family planning services. The Far Northeast Surgical Center continues to offer abortion care and options counseling to patients.
Four miles away, the Castor Avenue Health Center at 8210 Castor Avenue will see patients for family planning services. This facility accepts walk-ins and is open 6 days a week and evenings. We take Medicaid and most insurance. To make an appointment, call 215.745.5966.
Our phones are answered from 7:30 am - 7 pm Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am - 5 pm on Fridays, and 8 am - 4 pm on Saturdays.

We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.

If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale.

Payment is expected at time of service.
We can help you apply for SelectPlan for Women at this center. SelectPlan is a benefits program which covers the costs of many family planning services including birth control, annual GYN exams, and STD screening. If you are:
- a female between the ages of 18-44
- not pregnant
- not sterilized
