Our TCNJ health center serves TCNJ students, faculty, and staff during the fall and spring semesters (September - May).

Health Center Services and Information
Walk-in Services
Walk-in services are: pregnancy testing, prescription contraceptive (birth control) supply pick-up, Depo-Provera ("The Shot") injections, and sexually transmitted infection (STI/STD) testing & treatment (gonorrhea and chlamydia only), and rapid HIV testing. Please arrive 30 minutes before closing for walk-in services.
All other services require an appointment.
If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

Appointment Information
At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing; testing and treatment for urinary tract infections
Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.
Payment Information
Medicaid accepted.
If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. Please bring the following documents:
- pay stub
- photo ID
- proof of residence
Fees for services are based on your household income.
Please bring proof of income when you arrive for your visit.
We accept the following forms of payment:
- cash
- major credit/debit cards
Payment is expected at time of service.

Some charges associated with your services may be covered by your insurance. If you want to use your insurance, please be sure to bring in your insurance information at the time of your visit.

Anticonceptivos in Ewing, NJ
College of NJ Health Center offers the following birth control methods:
- birth control patch (Ortho Evra)
- birth control pill
- birth control shot
- birth control vaginal ring (NuvaRing)
- diaphragm
- condom
- female condom
- emergency contraception (morning after pill)
- fertility awareness method
- IUD (Mirena)
- IUD (ParaGard)
- spermicide
If you are a current patient with us, no appointment is necessary. Also, if you are a current patient and would like to use our Rapid Refill program, you can call in your order at (609)-599-4881 and choose the Rapid Refill option.
Here’s what you need to know about birth control at this health center:
Some of the birth control pills that we offer are Low-Ogestrel, Sronyx (NEW substitute for Microgestin), Ortho Novum 1/35, Ortho Tri Cyclen, and Micronor.
If you qualify, you may be able to receive certain birth control services without a pelvic exam.
If required, you may have to schedule a Pap test or a breast exam before getting a hormonal birth control method.
In order to obtain an IUD, we may first require an exam and a Pap test.
Proper Attire™, Planned Parenthood’s exclusive line of condoms, is available at this health center.
