If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

Appointment Information
Teen clinic is available: During all business hours.
Birth control refill pick ups are available During all business hours.
At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing; testing and treatment for urinary tract infections
Specially trained staff and medical equipment are available for people with physical disabilities.
We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.

Payment Information
Medicaid accepted.
If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. Please bring the following documents:
- birth certificate
- pay stub
- photo ID
- If your child is on Medicaid, please bring the child's Medicaid card. Social Security Card (if you have it) $30-$40 in case there is a fee for our services (this will depend on your income).
Fees for services are based on your household income.
Please bring proof of income when you arrive for your visit.
You will not be turned away because of your inability to pay.

Mary Ruth Duncan Women's Health Center offers the following birth control methods:

- birth control patch (Ortho Evra)
- birth control pill
- birth control shot
- birth control vaginal ring (NuvaRing)
- diaphragm
- condom
- female condom
- emergency contraception (morning after pill)
- fertility awareness method
- IUD (Mirena)
- IUD (ParaGard)
- spermicide
Birth control services are available:
- on a walk-in basis: Established patients can pick up birth control supplies on a walk-in basis during all business hours.
EXCEPTIONS: Implanon, IUDs, and diaphragms require an appointment.

Here’s what you need to know about birth control at this health center:
If you qualify, you may be able to receive certain birth control services without a pelvic exam.
If required, you may have to schedule a Pap test or a breast exam before getting a hormonal birth control method.
In order to obtain an IUD, we may first require an exam and a Pap test.
Proper Attire™, Planned Parenthood’s exclusive line of condoms, is available at this health center.
