Appointment Information
Birth control refill pick ups are available on a walk-in basis.
At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing; testing and treatment for urinary tract infections
Specialty Services
Pills by Mail is available at this health center — a service that delivers birth control pills to your home each month. Patients with a current prescription for some of the birth control pills that we offer at our health center can order Pills by Mail.

If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. Please bring the following documents:

Fees for services are based on your household income.
Please bring proof of income when you arrive for your visit.

Central West End Health Center offers the following men's health services:
- checkups when you have a reproductive/sexual health problem
- testicular and prostate cancer screening
- urinary tract infections — testing and treatment
- vasectomy counseling
Men's health services are available:
- during all business hours by appointment
Here’s what you need to know in preparation for a men's health visit at this health center:
Checkups when you have a reproductive/sexual health problem may require a genital exam.
Testicular and prostate cancer screening will require a genital or rectal exam.
A vasectomy requires two visits - one for education and consent, and another for the surgery itself. Vasectomy counseling is available at this health center, while the actual surgery can be performed at our North County health center.
A semen sample will also be needed after three months to confirm that the vasectomy was successful, which is also available at this health center.
