Walk-in Services

If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

Appointment Information

At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing; testing and treatment for urinary tract infections

Specially trained staff are available for people with developmental disabilities.

Specially trained staff and medical equipment are available for people with physical disabilities.

We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.

Children under the age of 15 are not allowed to wait unsupervised in the waiting area.

Morning-After Pill (Emergency Contraception) in San Antonio, TX

Planned Parenthood Northeast Sexual Healthcare offers the following emergency contraception (morning after pill) and related services:

  • emergency contraception
  • copper IUD insertion
  • pregnancy testing
  • rape crisis counseling referrals

Emergency contraception (morning after pill) is available at this location:

  • during all business hours on a walk-in basis
  • during all business hours by appointment

Here’s what you need to know about getting emergency contraception (morning after pill) at this health center:

Emergency contraception is available over the counter for women and men 17 and older. If you can’t make it in to a Planned Parenthood health center, you may be able to get emergency contraception at a nearby pharmacy.

Women under age 17 can get prescription emergency contraception following a visit with a Planned Parenthood health care provider.

The copper IUD may also be used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse. Ask your health care provider for more information.

Any adult age 18 or older can pick up emergency contraception (EC) on a walk-in basis at Planned Parenthood during our business hours.



You can purchase "EC to Go" in any quantity.
