Health Center Services and Information
Walk-in Services
The Frederick Health Center currently offers a limited number of walk-in appointments for clients on a first come basis. Walk-in clinic hours for all types of appointments are:
Monday: 9:00am-11:00am
Tuesday:11:00am-6:00pm
Wednesday: 9:00am-11:00am
Thursday: 11:00am-6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am-1:00pm
2nd and 3rd Saturday: 9:00am-1:00pm
Walk-in's for pregnancy tests and emergency contraception (EC) are always welcome up to an hour before clinic closure.
Please remember to bring your photo ID and insurance card to the walk-in clinic. If you are uninsured or underinsured you will need to bring photo ID and proof of income to be considered for sliding scale fees. If you do not wish to present with insurance or income; PPM always provides a discounted rate for anyone who wishes to pay in full at the time of service.

Appointment Information
Birth control refill pick ups are available during normal business hours. Call the refill request line for your health center to order refills 24 hours prior to pick up.
At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies: emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing; HIV testing; sexually transmitted infection treatment
We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.
Payment Information
Medicaid accepted.
If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. Please bring the following documents:
- photo ID
- Patient should bring 2 pay stubs from the last 30 days or a bank statement from the last 60 days showing 30 days of activity or W2 from the previous year or a letter on letterhead stating your income for a specific time period or a high school id, report card or current high school class schedule
We accept the following forms of payment:
- cash
- checks
- major credit/debit cards
Payment is expected at time of service.
For clients with accepted insurance the required co-pay or payment toward your deductable will be collected at the time of the visit.
For all other clients the full fee will be charged.
Insurance Information
Some charges associated with your services may be covered by your insurance or a state- funded program. If you want to use your insurance, please be sure to bring in your insurance information at the time of your visit.
