Health Center Services and Information

Walk-in Services

Pregnancy testing and emergency contraception are always available on a walk-in basis up to an hour before clinic closure.

All other visits require an appointment; please call for additional information or to schedule an appointment.

If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

Appointment Information

Birth control refill pick ups are available during normal business hours. Call the refill request line for your health center to order refills 24 hours prior to pick up.

At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies: emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing; HIV testing; sexually transmitted infection treatment

We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.

Payment Information

Medicaid accepted.

If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. Please bring the following documents:

photo ID
Patient should bring 2 pay stubs from the last 30 days or a bank statement from the last 60 days showing 30 days of activity or W2 from the previous year or a letter on letterhead stating your income for a specific time period or a high school id, report card or current high school class schedule

We accept the following forms of payment:

major credit/debit cards

Payment is expected at time of service.

For clients with accepted insurance the required co-pay or payment toward your deductable will be collected at the time of the visit.

For all other clients the full fee will be charged.

Some charges associated with your services may be covered by your insurance or a state- funded program. If you want to use your insurance, please be sure to bring in your insurance information at the time of your visit.

This health center only provides medication abortion services, it does not provide in-clinic (surgical) abortion services. Please call us for a referral list of health care providers in your area that offer in-clinic abortion services.

Here’s what you need to know about abortion services at this health center:

Abortion Pill (Medication Abortion)

Abortion pill (medication abortion) is offered up to 9 weeks after the start of your last menstrual period. If your last period was more than 9 weeks ago, we can still help. Call us for a referral list of health care providers in your area that offer other abortion services.

Abortion pill (medication abortion) services are available by appointment only.

Plan to be at the health center for up to 6 hour(s) for your entire abortion pill visit (medication abortion).

During the abortion pill (medication abortion) visit, you must agree — before you start — that you will have an in-clinic abortion if the abortion pill does not work.

After your abortion pill visit, you will need access to a telephone, transportation, and backup medical care available to you once you are home.

Other Abortion Services Information

Please do not bring children with you to the health center.

If you take any medications, please continue to take these medications normally before your appointment.

During your visit, you may be given the following:

a pregnancy test
a chance to speak with a trained staff person about all of your choices: abortion, adoption, and parenting
a conversation with the health care provider about your health history
lab tests/blood work
a pelvic exam
an ultrasound
medications to make the abortion more comfortable
medication if you are Rh negative
antibiotics or other medications
birth control information
a birth control method

If you are a minor considering an abortion, please read about parental consent and notification laws that might apply in your state.

Prices and Payment Information

Price ranges for our abortion services are:

abortion pill (medication abortion) - $375
medication if you are Rh negative - $85

Some services may have additional charges for lab and blood work

Payment is expected at time of service unless other arrangements have been previously made.

Abortion services may be covered by your insurance. If you want to use your insurance, please be sure to bring in your insurance information at the time of your visit.

Medicaid accepted.

If you are uninsured, you may be eligible to receive financial assistance for your procedure. You can confidentially find out if you qualify by calling us at 410-860-4788. If you are eligible for financial assistance, you may be asked to bring documentation with you to the health center.
