Appointment Information

Birth control refill pick ups are available as well as Emergency Contraception (Plan B, also known as the morning after pill) when the center opens and ends one half hour before closing.

At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam.

Specially trained staff are available for people with developmental disabilities.

Specially trained staff and medical equipment are available for people with physical disabilities.

We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to wait unsupervised in the waiting area.

Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.

Medicaid accepted.

If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale.

Fees for services are based on your household income.

Please bring proof of income when you arrive for your visit.

Morning-After Pill (Emergency Contraception) in Massapequa, NY

Massapequa Center offers the following emergency contraception (morning after pill) and related services:

Emergency Contraception (EC) is available without a prescription for anyone 17 and older. Please bring picture identification with date of birth. EC is available from when our health center opens to one half hour before it closes.

If you are under 17, please call for an appointment.

Here’s what you need to know about getting emergency contraception (morning after pill) at this health center:

Emergency contraception is available over the counter for women and men 17 and older. If you can’t make it in to a Planned Parenthood health center, you may be able to get emergency contraception at a nearby pharmacy.

Women under age 17 can get prescription emergency contraception following a visit with a Planned Parenthood health care provider.

Plan B (emergency contraception) is about half the price of what a pharmacy charges.
