Hours of Operation
Note: For the month of April, we will not be open most Saturdays. The Franklinton Health Center will be open on:

Due to staff training, we will have limited services on select Tuesdays in April. The Franklinton Health Center will have limited services on these days:
* Tuesday, April 1
* Tuesday, April 15
* Tuesday, April 29
On these days, only the following services will be available:
* Pregnancy tests
* Depo injections
* HIV tests
* Limited STI testing
* Pre-arranged supply pick-ups
English; Spanish; Interpretation by telephone available for other languages.
Health Center Services and Information
Please arrive at least one hour prior to closing.
STI testing (Only available as walk-in if you are not showing symptoms. If you are showing symptoms, please make an a appointment.)
All other services require an appointment.
Advance day and same day appointments are available.
Phones are answered during these hours:
Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Our health center is closed for the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King Day
- Memorial Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Birth control refill pick ups are available During normal business hours. Please arrive at least one hour prior to closing.
We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.
Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.
Pills by Mail is available at this health center - a service that delivers birth control pills to your home each month. Patients with a current prescription for some of the birth control pills that we offer at our health center can order Pills by Mail.
Other Health Center Information
If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. Please bring the following documents:
- pay stub
- FAFSA for college students ODJFS unemployment documentation
Fees for services are based on your household income.
Please bring proof of income when you arrive for your visit.
We accept the following forms of payment:
- major credit/debit cards
Payment is expected at time of service.
If you plan to pay for your visit with a credit card that is not your own, you must bring a letter from the cardholder with you.
Please see the provided list of insurance plans to find out which ones include Planned Parenthood as an in-network provider.
Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STI screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. You should contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you are interested in are covered, and what, if any, out-of-pocket costs you are required to pay.
Please be sure to bring your insurance card to your visit.
