The Franklinton Health Center is in the Franklinton Square Shopping Center. Get on 70 and take the West Broad exit, then turn toward downtown. We are on the right-hand side between White Castle and Tim Hortons.

Note: -Attention Patients-

Due to Clinician Training, our hours in the month of May have temporarily changed. Please call our office at 614-222-3525 for more information. We will have no Clinician on site May 3,6,7,15 and 20th. We will also be closed for Memorial Day, May 27th.

During times without a Clinician, we will be able to provide EC (Emergency Contraception), pregnancy tests and some STD testing. We will not be able to fill supplies or provide examinations.

Please be advised and plan accordingly. We apologize for the inconvenience.

English; Spanish; Interpretation by telephone available for other languages. Interpreters also available to be present on site.

Health Center Services and Information

Walk-in Services

Pregnancy tests, emergency contraception, birth control (for established patients) are available during normal business hours.

If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

This Center offers same-day appointments over the phone. We start taking calls at 8:30 am and assign same-day appointments to see the Clinician.

Clinician availability may affect access to emergency contraception and birth control supply refills.

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day

Appointment Information

Teen clinic is available: Teen Walk-In Hours of operation are be Mondays from 1 pm until 6 pm. Teens nineteen (19) and under will be the only individuals provided service during these hours. Birth control, annual exams, and STI testing will be available. Call (614) 222-3525 for more information.

Birth control refill pick ups are available during all business hours.

We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.

Children under the age of 10 are not allowed to wait unsupervised in the waiting area.

Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.

Other Health Center Information

Pills by Mail is available at this health center - a service that delivers birth control pills to your home. Patients with a current prescription for birth control pills at our health center can order Pills by Mail.

Medicaid accepted.

Medicaid, Molina, & CareSource If you will be using your insurance or Medicaid, you must bring a photo ID. accepted.

Fees for services are based on your household income.

You will not be turned away because of your inability to pay.

Franklinton Health Center offers the following women's health services:

  • checkups when you have a reproductive/sexual health problem
  • breast exams
  • cervical cancer screening
  • mammogram referrals
  • Pap test
  • urinary tract infections — testing and treatment
  • vaginal infections — testing and treatment
  • Other services we may provide include help with irregular periods or no periods, painful periods, painful sex, bleeding between periods, menstrual problems (premenstrual syndrome) or even a lost tampon.
  • post-abortion follow-up exams

Women's health services are available:

  • on a walk-in basis: This Center offers same-day appointments over the phone. We start taking calls at 8:30 am and assign same-day appointments to see the Clinician. We are only able to schedule for the same day. No appointments will be scheduled in advance.

The Health Center is open on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of the month.

Here’s what you need to know in preparation for a women's health visit at this health center:

Do not douche, have sex, or put anything in your vagina 24 hours before your pelvic exam. It is best if you are not having your menstrual period for some types of visits. Contact us if you have questions.

Checkups for gynecological concerns may require a pelvic exam.

For the testing and treatment of urinary tract infections, we will need to collect a urine sample at the time of your visit.

For the testing and treatment of vaginal infections, a pelvic exam may be required.

A Pap test is sometimes needed during a routine checkup.

Cervical cancer screening requires a pelvic exam and Pap test.
