Health Center Services and Information

Walk-in Services

Pregnancy testing, Plan B, and birth control refill pickups.

All other services require an appointment.

If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

• Day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day

Appointment Information

Birth control refill pick ups are available Birth control refills are available during all business hours. Please refill your birth control at least 24 hours in advance.

At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing; testing and treatment for urinary tract infections

We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.

Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.

Specialty Services

Pills by Mail is available at this health center — a service that delivers birth control pills to your home each month. Patients with a current prescription for some of the birth control pills that we offer at our health center can order Pills by Mail.

Other Health Center Information

FOR GPS Users - GPS directions using the health center address will not work. Please use the following address instead: 1513 Pierson Drive Charlotte, NC 28205 This is the address of Steamer's Sports Pub - and right across the road from their parking lot is an entrance into the back parking lot of our building. Steamers Sports Pub at 1513 Pierson Drive will be on your right. Across from their parking lot, on your left, you will see a one-way sign and a sign that says 4822 Albemarle Road. Take that driveway into the parking lot of our building. We are a two-story brick building. FROM INDEPENDENCE BLVD(74 East) We are IMMEDIATELY off Exit 246 - 2nd building on your right. Comes up very quickly as you exit, so please be prepared for the turn into our parking lot.

Payment is expected at time of service.

If you plan to pay for your visit with a credit card that is not your own, you must bring a letter from the cardholder with you.

Insurance Information

If you want to use your insurance, please be sure to bring in your insurance information at the time of your visit.
