English; Spanish; Interpretation by telephone available for other languages. If you need translation services for any language besides Spanish, please call our health center at least three days before your appointment so that we can make the proper arrangements.
Health Center Services and Information
Walk-in Services
Pregnancy tests are available on a walk-in basis. Please call the health center for an appoinment for other services. We often have same-day appointments.
If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

Our health center is closed for the following holidays:

- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Appointment Information
Birth control refill pick ups are available from the Pharmacy located in this building. If you would like to pick up your pills during hours when the pharmacy is closed, please let the pharmacist know and we can have them for you at the front desk. Please call your refill request to our pharmacy (918-858-0058 or 1-866-706-0058) at least three days before you will pick it up. For a small fee, our pharmacy can mail your prescription refills directly to your home.
At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing; testing and treatment for urinary tract infections
We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.
Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to wait unsupervised in the waiting area.
Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.

Medicaid accepted.
If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. Please bring the following documents:
- birth certificate
- pay stub
- photo ID
- Social Security Card
Fees for services are based on your household income.
Please bring proof of income when you arrive for your visit.
You will not be turned away because of your inability to pay.
We accept the following forms of payment:
- cash
- checks
- major credit/debit cards
- money orders
Payment is expected at time of service.
Due to a very generous donation, we are able to offer LONG-TERM CONTRACEPTION for LOW or NO COST.
This includes IUDs (Mirena and ParaGard), Implanon, and Essure.
Discounts are available for pregnancy testing based on income.

Some charges associated with your services may be covered by your insurance or a state- funded program. If you want to use your insurance, please be sure to bring in your insurance information at the time of your visit.

Women's Health Care in Tulsa, OK
Midtown Health Center: Family Planning offers the following women's health services:
- checkups when you have a reproductive/sexual health problem
- breast exams
- cervical cancer screening
- incontinence education
- incontinence treatment
- infertility education
- mammogram referrals
- menopause and midlife — testing and treatment
- Pap test
- urinary tract infections — testing and treatment
- vaginal infections — testing and treatment
- Other services we may provide include help with irregular periods or no periods, painful periods, painful sex, bleeding between periods, menstrual problems (premenstrual syndrome) or even a lost tampon.
- Colposcopy, cryotherapy, and LEEP are available at our South Peoria Health Center. Essure, an in-office permanent sterilization option for women, is also available at our South Peoria location.

Here’s what you need to know in preparation for a women's health visit at this health center:
Do not douche, have sex, or put anything in your vagina 24 hours before your pelvic exam. It is best if you are not having your menstrual period for some types of visits. Contact us if you have questions.
Checkups for gynecological concerns may require a pelvic exam.
For the testing and treatment of urinary tract infections, we will need to collect a urine sample at the time of your visit.
For the testing and treatment of vaginal infections, a pelvic exam may be required.
A Pap test is sometimes needed during a routine checkup.
Cervical cancer screening requires a pelvic exam and Pap test.

Abortion services may be covered by your insurance. If you want to use your insurance, please be sure to bring in your insurance information at the time of your visit.
