Health Center Services and Information
Walk-in Services
Services are offered on a walk-in basis during clinic hours except Mondays
All other services require an appointment.
If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.
Appointment Information
At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing; testing and treatment for urinary tract infections
We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.
Payment Information
We accept the following forms of payment:
- cash
- checks
- major credit/debit cards
- money orders
Payment is expected at time of service.
If you plan to pay for your visit with a credit card that is not your own, you must bring a letter from the cardholder with you.

Las Vegas North MLK offers the following birth control methods:
- birth control patch (Ortho Evra)
- birth control pill
- birth control shot
- birth control vaginal ring (NuvaRing)
- condom
- female condom
- emergency contraception (morning after pill)
- fertility awareness method
- IUD (Mirena)
- IUD (ParaGard)
- spermicide
Most services are available on a walk-in basis and by appointment every day we are open. Please call before walking in or make an appointment for the birth control shot, diaphragm or IUD.
Here’s what you need to know about birth control at this health center:
If you qualify, you may be able to receive certain birth control services without a pelvic exam.
If required, you may have to schedule a Pap test or a breast exam before getting a hormonal birth control method.
Proper Attire™, Planned Parenthood’s exclusive line of condoms, is available at this health center.

Price ranges for our birth control methods are:
- birth control patch (Ortho Evra) - $85
- birth control pill - Please contact this health center for birth control pill pricing information.
- birth control shot - $89
- birth control vaginal ring (NuvaRing) - $76
- condom - $0.60
- female condom - $6 for 3
- emergency contraception (morning after pill) - $38
- IUD (Mirena) - $835
- IUD (ParaGard) - $595
- spermicide - $0.75-$10
- birth control methods may require an office visit fee - $50
Some services may have additional charges for lab and blood work.
Payment is expected at time of service unless other arrangements have been previously made.
