Health Center Services and Information
Walk-in Services
No appointment is necessary for emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, HIV testing, STD testing, and testing and treatment for urinary tract infections during health center hours. All other services require an appointment. Please be aware that patients may experience significant wait times for walk-in services so appointments are recommended. We strive to give same day or next day appointments whenever possible --- please call 800-230-7526 for an appointment.

Appointment Information
Teen clinic is available: during regular business hours.
Birth control refill pick ups are available during regular business hours.
At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing; testing and treatment for urinary tract infections
We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.
Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.

General Health Care in Mt. Vernon, NY
Mount Vernon Center offers the following general health care services:
- pregnancy planning services
- smoking cessation
- Patients may request smoking cessation services; however, anemia testing, cholesterol screening, diabetes screening, high blood pressure screening, and thyroid screening are done only as needed for prenatal care and use of birth control. For a general physical, please see your family doctor.
