Pro-Choice License Plates – Show your pride and your passion for choice by registering for a Hawaii pro-choice license plate today!

Hawaii was the 1st state with pro-choice license plates in 2003. Unfortunately, Planned Parenthood of Hawaii (PPH) has only had a handful of individuals elect to buy the $25 PPH pro-choice plates for which we receive about $20 annually.

PPH was just notified that the Governor has signed House Bill No. 79 into law as Act 8; the act amended the HI Revised Statues 249-9.3 by authorizing the removal of an organization from the license plate program if it does not achieve 150 participants with 3 years.

As of 12/7/08, PPH had only 20 active participants in our organization license plate program since 2003, and unless PPH achieves the 150 active participants by 12/1/09, we will no longer be able to participate in the program.
