Thank you to those of you who joined us on March 5 for our Dallas Annual Awards Luncheon! The event featured keynote speaker and maternal health advocate Christy Turlington Burns, who discussed her work with Every Mother Counts, an advocacy and mobilization campaign that Burns launched in order to increase education and support for maternal mortality reduction globally.
Thanks to 1,300 supporters in attendance and our dedicated volunteers, the event raised approximately $750,000 to support Planned Parenthood’s health and education services in Central and North Texas.
