Volunteer at PPGNNJ

Volunteers help us bring low-cost, high-quality health care to thousands of women. We encourage you to join our dedicated volunteer staff by contributing your special skill or talent.

HOW CAN I HELP?

While our volunteers work in many different areas of Planned Parenthood, the majority work in our 10 medical centers as Medical Services Volunteers. They may:
  • help to maintain medical records
  • answer phones
  • greet our patients
As our medical staff says "We couldn't do without our volunteers!" Hours are available weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays.

Volunteers also help in our Administrative Office in Morristown, providing clerical support to departments such as Accounting and Education. These volunteers usually work weekdays between 9 am and 4:30 pm.

Other volunteers provide professional services to departments such as Public Information and Development. They may make special arrangements to work from home or an office, rather than coming on site to a PPGNNJ location. While their volunteer hours are flexible, they provide PPGNNJ with valuable services when they are needed most.

We Really Appreciate Your Help!

As a volunteer, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you've provided a valuable service to your community--but that's not all. Regular volunteers may receive basic medical services FREE at any PPGNNJ location.
