Ann Crittenden is an award-winning journalist, author and lecturer. Her books, If You’ve Raised Kids, You Can Manage Anything, and The Price of Motherhood, have garnered widespread media attention, and the latter was named one of The New York Times Notable Books of the Year in 2001. Crittenden was a reporter for The New York Times for eight years, and was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize.

Jeff Brand, President & CEO, is retiring after 27 years of service to Planned Parenthood of Greater Northern New Jersey. Through his dedication to the Planned Parenthood mission and to his staff, Jeff has shaped PPGNNJ to its current status as the largest community-based ambulatory health care agency in New Jersey. In recognition of his outstanding leadership of the organization, he will be awarded the 2009 Public Health Achievement Award.

In addition, the 2009 Reproductive Freedom Award will be presented to Teva Women’s Health in appreciation of the company’s significant commitment to women’s health and contraception.
