PROGRAMS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

CFLE educators facilitate programs at public and private schools, youth-serving agencies, faith-based youth programs, colleges, and other groups. Sample topics include:

  • Abstinence
  • Contraception
  • Healthy relationships
  • HIV and AIDS
  • Puberty
  • Safer sex and sexually transmitted infections
  • Sexual decision-making
  • Sexual health
  • Sexual harassment and date rape

PROGRAMS FOR PARENTS

CFLE educators conduct single sessions or workshop series on parent-child communication about sexuality. Workshops for PTO's, religious and community groups address:

  • Talking with your child about sex
  • Sexual development in childhood
  • Puberty: enhancing self-esteem
  • Sex and the media
  • Sexual abuse prevention
  • Encouraging healthy relationships

PROGRAMS FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS

The CFLE is available to provide programs for businesses, social service agencies, including those serving individuals with special needs, and other community-based groups.
