PROGRAMS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
CFLE educators facilitate programs at public and private schools, youth-serving agencies, faith-based youth programs, colleges, and other groups. Sample topics include:
- Abstinence
- Contraception
- Healthy relationships
- HIV and AIDS
- Puberty
- Safer sex and sexually transmitted infections
- Sexual decision-making
- Sexual health
- Sexual harassment and date rape
PROGRAMS FOR PARENTS
CFLE educators conduct single sessions or workshop series on parent-child communication about sexuality. Workshops for PTO's, religious and community groups address:
- Talking with your child about sex
- Sexual development in childhood
- Puberty: enhancing self-esteem
- Sex and the media
- Sexual abuse prevention
- Encouraging healthy relationships
PROGRAMS FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS
The CFLE is available to provide programs for businesses, social service agencies, including those serving individuals with special needs, and other community-based groups.
