General Information & Policies
• UNATTENDED CARTS, BOXES
You must keep your selections with you at all times. Items left unattended in carts, boxes or bags will be returned to the tables. Coverings such as blankets and name signs cannot be honored. You may leave your selections, carts, and boxes immediately outside the Concession Area when in that area.
• THE 4-H BUILDING IS A SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT.
• PRICING
All items are priced individually based on factors including condition, age, and popularity, and availability. Our prices are competitive with used book stores. Volunteers have pricing guidelines to follow for each category. Book prices can be found inside the front cover, upper right hand corner, of the first white page. Some items such as puzzles, movies and records are priced with dot labels.
Unmarked magazines, maps, comic books, cookbook pamphlets, postcards and unmarked calendars are 50 cents each.
• PARKING
There are numerous surface lots within close walking distance of the 4-H building. There are several handicapped parking spots available directly in front of the building.
• CONCESSION AREA
The Concession Area, near the front of the building, has a varied menu. The seating in that area is reserved for Concession Area customers. Please keep all food and drink in that area. Please do not take book sale items into that area.
• PAYMENT METHODS
Purchases may be made using cash, check, MasterCard, VISA, and debit cards. If writing a check please have your ID ready at the checkout.
• RESTROOMS, DRINKING FOUNTAIN AND PAY PHONE
The restroom, drinking fountain and pay phone can be found near the front entrance of the building.
