Bequests: Gifts Made Through Your Will or Living Trust

The most common planned gift is a bequest through your will or living trust. You can arrange a gift of a specific amount, a percentage, or even all or part of the residuum of your estate. If you would like to make such a gift to Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa (PPGI), your attorney may wish to include language similar to the following:

"I give, devise, and bequeath to Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa Foundation, now or formerly in the City of Des Moines, 1171-7th Street, in the State of Iowa, (dollar amount or __ percent of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate), to be used for its general purposes."

To establish a bequest to PPGI, you may also need the following:

  • Legal Name
Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa Foundation

  • Address
1171-7th St., Des Moines, IA 50314

  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)
    42-1240096
