Sexuality Education Toolkits
About The Kits
Planned Parenthood's "No Place Like Home" kits are a take-home sexuality education resource for parents. They contain medically accurate, age-appropriate videos, books, and pamphlets. The kits are designed to be a tool for parents, who are the primary sexuality educators of their children.
Youth are exposed to a wide array of messages about sex and sexuality from many (often unreliable) sources. Parents taking an active role in the sexuality education of their children need to have accurate and comprehensive seuxal health information. We hope that our "No Place Like Home" kits serve as a guide through the questions and issues about sex and sexuality a parent and child must discuss.
Planned Parenthood believes in empowering families to share their values and communicate openly about issues regarding sex and sexuality. Due to the variety of religious beliefs, values and experiences represented in our community, our kits are designed to give non-directive, value-neutral information.
