Resource Library and Parent Packs
Planned Parenthood of East Central Illinois offers two public resource libraries with hundreds of books, videos, games and other resources that make it easier to talk with your kids about sexuality, relationships and other issues.  Resource libraries are available in Champaign and Bloomington and offer these items for rental in exchange for a small donation.  To learn more, contact the Education Department (217) 359-4768 (in Champaign) or (309) 827-4368 (in Bloomington).

Parent packs are available at both resource libraries and provide parents and caretakers with age-appropriate and gender-specific resources about specific sexuality topics.  The following packs are available for rent:

Community Presentations
Planned Parenthood of East Central Illinois' Teen Awareness Group, a group of peer sexuality educators, are available for presentations in the Bloomington-Normal and Champaign-Urbana areas.  Members of the groups of high school students present on a variety of topics related to sexuality, sexual health, peer pressure, violence prevention, and parent-teen communication.  Contact the Education Department at (217) 359-4768 (in Champaign) or (309) 827-4368 (in Bloomington) to learn more or schedule a presentation for your group.

Supporting Sexuality Education
In recent years, funding for sexuality education has become more limited.  By donating to Planned Parenthood of East Central Illinois, you can help ensure that resources like the Teen Awareness Group and Resource Libraries are available to families in our area.
