About Community Prenatal Care

Quality mom and baby care should be available for everyone. Thanks to funding from The Carle Foundation, Champaign County United Way, and Planned Parenthood of East Central Illinois, Community Prenatal Care will provide expert care.

Community Prenatal Care is a personable environment where each patient is treated on an individual basis. The offices are located at the Planned Parenthood Health Center, just north of the University of Illinois campus at 302 E. Stoughton Street. There you'll find easy parking and an inviting staff, ready to help. Community Prenatal Care can accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Health Alliance and other insurance plans, as well as Medicaid.

At Community Prenatal Care, a certified nurse midwife, under the direction of a doctor, gives you this care plus extra help and attention during your first 36 weeks of pregnancy. This reduces the chances of complications during pregnancy and delivery. That means you and your baby have a better chance at a healthy beginning.

Medical records will be forwarded to the hospital of your choice for the last four weeks of care and delivery. After the birth, a return visit to Community Prenatal Care may be scheduled for post-partum care.
