About Planned Parenthood of Connecticut

The mission of Planned Parenthood of Connecticut is to protect the fundamental right of all individuals to manage their own fertility and sexual health, and to ensure access to the services, education and information to realize that right.

Your support through donations, political work, and volunteerism is vitally important as we continue our rich and vibrant tradition of protecting reproductive rights in Connecticut! For over 80 years, Planned Parenthood of Connecticut has been here for the women and men of our state. In 1965, thanks to the hard work of PPC pioneers, the US Supreme Court legalized birth control and first defined the Constitutional right to privacy in Griswold v Connecticut, upon which Roe v Wade was later based.
