In order for young people to take responsibility for their behavior, including the prevention of unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, they must have access to comprehensive, medically accurate sex education and information.
Planned Parenthood believes that whenever possible, parents should be the primary sexuality educators in a young person's life. However, when healthy family communication isn't possible, Planned Parenthood's educators are here to help young people.
