Planned Parenthood of Collier County complies with the Florida state law Parental Notice of Abortion Act, Section 390.01114. If a minor aged 17 or younger chooses to have an abortion, the law states that the physician performing the abortion must notify one of the minor’s parents or a legal guardian prior to the abortion procedure.
