Mother-Daughter Workshop
Planned Parenthood of Collier County is pleased to offer a Mother-Daughter Program I for girls ages 9-12 years old, and a Mother-Daughter Program II for girls ages 13-16.
Mothers and daughters can be the best of friends, but talking about sexuality and growing up can be difficult. Mother-Daughter Program I deals with such issues as: puberty, body changes, body image, trust, and friendships. Mother-Daughter Program II deals with such issues as: body image, dating, relationships, self-esteem, pregnancy prevention, and sexual health, including the prevention of sexually transmitted infections.
For decades Planned Parenthood of Collier County has been helping women of all ages - mothers and daughters - get the quality health care and information they need to live long, healthy, and happy lives.
Each Mother-Daughter Program consists of five sessions and costs $75 (scholarships are available). Please call (239) 262-8923, ext. 301 for more information or to register.
