For Youth

THE CURVE (not straight) is a support program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth and their allies who are between the ages of 14 and 21.  We provide a safe, supportive, welcoming and fun environment for advocacy and educational and recreational activities.  
We celebrated our 5th Anniversary in September and we are making plans for our next five years. Read our special edition newsletter.

THE CURVE meets every other Thursday from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. in the York health center. Download THE CURVE brochure.

PEER EDUCATORS
Peer Educators are trained to lead programs and answer questions about teen health, sexuality, decision making, contraceptives, abstinence and HIV/AIDS.
Planned Parenthood Peer Educators: Act as a sexuality resource for their peers;
Represent Planned Parenthood at events; Lead programs; Receive community service credit; Advocate for teen issues & Have fun!  
We will be offering a training for new PE's on Saturday Jan. 28, Feb. 4, 11 & 18 from 10 - 4. You will learn so much!

We meet at the York Administration/Health Center 728 S. Beaver St. from 4 - 5:50 p.m. on the last Monday of each month (except December). We have snacks and, sometimes, even prizes- bring a friend!
