This beautiful mural created by Ophelia Chambliss greets clients and visitors to the York Administration Office and Health Center. The mission of Planned Parenthood of Central Pennsylvania is:
- to provide comprehensive primary and reproductive health care services in settings that preserve and protect the essential privacy and rights of each individual
- to advocate public policies that guarantee these rights and ensure access to such services
to provide educational programs, which enhance understanding of individual and societal implications of human sexuality, and - to promote health care research.
Planned Parenthood of Central PA began as the Maternal Health Clinic in York, PA in 1935. We are celebrating our 75th Birthday beginning January 2010 and continuing throughout the year!
