Prenatal Care

Every woman who becomes pregnant has the right to continue the pregnancy regardless of her age, marital status, or financial condition. Good prenatal care is vital to ensure a healthy pregnancy. It involves regular check-ups, special nutrition, adequate rest, and regular exercise. Services are provided by private physicians or community health agencies such as:

For Ohio's expectant parents, newborns, infants, & toddlers.  Provides health and developmental services so that children start school healthy and ready to learn.

Schedules initial prenatal care visit with one of 14 Franklin County clinics.  Limited to women who are uninsured or under-insured (including those with Medicaid/Medicaid HMO).
