Meets the first Wednesday of every month (5:30-7:30 PM).
“Reproductive freedom is not free. Those who believe in it and believe it should be the law of the land must rise in its defense politically, in public debate, and in support of pro-choice organizations.” --Sarah Weddington, the lawyer who argued for abortion rights in the landmark Roe v. Wade case
Our volunteers are the "face" of Planned Parenthood of Central Ohio. At monthly F.A.C.E. meetings, we give updates to catch everyone up on the latest news in family planning, and provide training to prepare volunteers to do outreach and be activists in their communities. Volunteers also provide support by preparing the computerized dolls for the Baby Think It Over Program, assembling mailings, and helping with other administrative projects. It's a great way to meet and work with other volunteers for Planned Parenthood in a relaxed and fun setting. For more information, please contact volunteering@ppcoh.org.
