MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD: VOTE

Voting is one of our most basic rights. It allows us to participate in government and have a say in how our country is run. Let your voice be heard on Election Day by registering to vote.

WHO CAN REGISTER? 

To register in New Jersey you must be a U.S. Citizen, at least 18 years old on or before the next election and residing at your present address for at least 30 days.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS

In New Jersey you do not need a reason to apply for an absentee ballot. Don’t feel like going to the polls? No problem, vote by mail. Now there is no excuse not to vote! Absentee ballots must be mailed to your county clerk at least 7 days before the election or delivered to the clerk in person by 3 p.m. the day before the election.
