Medicaid Women's Health Program

Free birth control and annual gynecological exams?

The Medicaid Women's Health Program provides uninsured, low-income women with birth control, gynecological exams and related health screenings through Texas Medicaid.

If you answer yes to ALL of the following, you may qualify for the Medicaid Women's Health Program:

  • I am a female who lives in Texas
  • I am between the ages of 18-44
  • I am NOT pregnant but still able to have children
  • I am a US citizen
  • I qualify for food stamps (may be adjunctively eligible for Medicaid Women's Health Program)

If you have children who are getting WIC or Medicaid the process may be easier.
