Who We Are

Planned Parenthood of Alaska (PPA) has been providing high-quality, affordable reproductive health care for women, men and teens since 1966. Our four PPA clinics in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Sitka and Soldotna serve thousands of Alaskans each year.

What We Do

PPA is committed to excellence in reproductive health care services, education and ensuring that the voices of Alaskans are heard on issues affecting reproductive rights.

How We Do It
  • By providing the necessary compassionate and affordable reproductive health care services that ensure the life-long sexual health and well being of men, women and teens regardless of age, race, sexuality, disability, ethnicity, national origin, marital status, gender identity and expression, faith, sexual orientation or income.
  • By providing medically accurate, age-appropriate sex education through lectures and training programs on sexuality and reproductive health. We also have an extensive resource library, which is available to anyone seeking information.
  • By meticulously monitoring public policy and ensuring that it incorporates the best interests of our patients along with our mission. We now face the toughest battle in our history of protecting our right to access all reproductive health care services and information.
